In your own words, and more than what you'd just quote, unless it's a good quote. That is, if you don't mind my restricting the answer to those margins. I don't want to take away from this question and your answer. Personally I don't want the first thing off a google search, either.

Scientifically speaking the aura could be described as the electro-magnetic field of the body it's self.
Everything that uses electricity has a electro-magnetic field. According to this article : "According to Kwabena Boahen, a computer scientist at Stanford University, a robot with a processor as smart as the human brain would require at least 10 megawatts to operate." that a lot of power that could create an electro-magnetic field (aura) . Of course there are many other explanations like : it's god's gift and many others.
Reading the previous answer ,about the mood determining well i think it is possible ,because every emotion has its frequency .

An aura is energy that is around your body. It is colored, and the color of the aura is supposed to determine your mood. Kinda like a mood ring, but it's free and actually accurate :P

In spite of what one poster would have you believe, aura reading IS NOT accurate! Auras do not exist. See:

for an example of how there is no aura to "see".
