This morning around 7:40am I ate breakfast, and then I took a GNC Magnesium 250mg (Oxide & Gluconate) tablet. This is 63% of it's daily value. I have drink more than 70 ounces of water since then. Just about 10 minutes ago (12:09pm) I took Mega Men Energy & Metabolism which has 100mg of Magnesium (Oxide) 25% DV completely forgetting that I had already taken something with Magnesium in it. (I take multivitamins but when I do I don't take anything else, and I drink plenty of water).
DID I OVER DO IT? Should I keep drinking water to flush out my body?
I am calm, but a bit worried because I don't want to end up poisoning myself.

Any time a "Daily Value" is listed, it is NOT a hard-and-fast number. It is merely an ESTIMATE, based on the averages of thousands of people. YOUR body may need more, or it may need less.
There is no way for your body to predict how much you will need each day. Therefor, your body has a number of "defense mechanism" that allow you to take huge overloads of things like Calcium,. Magnesium, Zinc, and so forth. Double or even triple the ESTIMATED "daily value" is not going to hurt you.
Long-term vitamin and mineral overdose can cause problems, especially vitamins. Long-term overdose of vitamins can often result in problems just as severe as not having enough.
in ALL cases, dietary supplements are a poor "second choice". You are MUCH better off to get your vitamins and minerals from a properly balanced diet than from a pill. Vitamins and minerals in food are already in a form the body can use immediately. Vitamins and mineral tablets must first be processed by your body. Thus, as much as 90% of the pill you take actually passes through your body UNUSED! HUGE waste of money.
Short story: You're in no trouble of overdose, but you would be much better off to simply make the necessary changes to your diet. and forget the pills.
