-here today say: A deity or deities are human constructs on which they can blame things they dont understand. Thus you have statements like, God moves in mysterious ways, and There are some things mere mortals arent meant to understand. Those statements are equivalent to, The stuff Ive been told doesnt make any sense to me either.......
Zach say: If there was a god, i'm sure he could

say: y

Elias say: God can create round square by his creation.
-
Art say: Of course not. Basic reason round (circle) and square are human concepts and Definitions.
-
Kalib Bivins say: No
-
Doc say: Willy Wonka created the Squares That Look Round.
-
whalewatcher500 say: The bigger question should be, is there a God to begin with? We should find that answer for ourselves before we answer this question.

Simon say: No.

here today say: A deity or deities are human constructs on which they can blame things they don't understand. Thus you have statements like, "God moves in mysterious ways," and "There are some things mere mortals aren't meant to understand." Those statements are equivalent to, "The stuff I've been told doesn't make any sense to me either."

As has been pointed out, "square" and "circle" are also humanly-defined terms. Depending on how you define them will determine whither or not they can "be the same." I believe you'll find that plane geometry requires a flat surface. If you define "circle" as "a figure the number of sides of which approaches 'infinity' with all the sides the same length approaching zero", then, as has been pointed out, a point might be called a circle if it's considered to be an infinite-sided figure with all the sides of zero length. However, it might be argued that a point could be any shape with all sides of zero length... or that, having zero dimensions, it is not a shape at all.

Infinity is kind of an esoteric concept. People tend to consider it as having a value. In reality it's just a concept. In a college class the question was posed, "Which weighs more, infinite feathers or infinite elephants?" At first thought, it would seem that since adding an elephant to the stack adds a little more weight than adding a feather, the elephants might weigh more. But "infinite" anything precludes the existence of anything else... including something with which to weigh it. Therefore a geometric figure of any kind with sides of "infinite" length could not exist. One side would have to come to an end before another side began.
