Just wanted to make sure my answers match up:

Simplify the following:
1) 2e^(-x-y) / 2[e^(-y)-e^(-2y)]
= [e^(-x)] / (1-e^(-y)) ??

2) 2e^(-x-y) / 2e^(-2x)
= e^(-y) / e^(-x) ??

good work...but note the 1st can also be written e^y / [ e^x ( e^y- 1 ) ] & the 2nd [ e^y / e^x ]
