'Draw a scatter plot to show the relationship between pre-test results and final exam marks.'
Student A - pre-test resluts = 90. Final exam marks = 98
Student B - pre test = 49. Final exam = 62
Student C - pre test = 66. Final exam 81
and so on...
Anyway my question is..do i have to draw 2 different scatter plots? If i only draw 1..which goes on what axis? Would students go on one axis and results on the other?
Sorry if this makes no sence. Ive gotten myself a bit confused
Thanks in advance

One plot will do. But the student on the x axis (horizontal) and the scores of exams on the y axis (vertical) . Use increments of about 5 or 10 on the y axis to denote the score of the test. I would suggest using one color for the pretests and another color for the final exams. Good luck.
haha oh and you spelled pre test reSLUTS haha

I'm quite sure the students wouldn't mean anything at all, you'd put the pre-test results and final exam marks on the scatter plot and not worry about listening the students.
