x^-1(x^-2 + x^-3) = (x^-1*x^-2) + (x^-3*x^-1) . . .apply law of exponent. .
add the exponent when multiplying the same base then copy the base

(x^-1*x^-2) + (x^-3*x^-1) = x^-3 + x^-4 . . . applying rule of negative exponent

= 1/x^3 + 1/x^4 . . . D
