From a bag containing 6 nickels, 10 dimes, & 4 quarters, 6 coins are drawn at random all at once. What is the probability of getting 3 nickels, 2 dimes , & 1 quarter?

Numerator: There are 6C3 = 20 ways to pick 3 nickels. 10C2 = 45 ways to pick 2 dimes. And, 4C1 = 4 ways to pick 1 quarter. In total, 20x45x4 = 3600 ways to pick 3 nickels, 2 dimes , & 1 quarter.
Denominator: Out of 20 coins, there are 20C6 = 38,760 ways to pick 6 coins.
P = 3600 / 38760 = 30 / 323
Hope that helped
