When the world ends, will us Australians die a day ahead of people in the U.S

or will the americans die in the past?

because the end of the world date is December 21, 2012- so in Australia we are a day ahead, so we'd hit December 21 while the americans are at December 20...

So do we just die first or do we all die at the same time? Or is it December 22 for us Australians?

people living in the east section of the earth face the sun first, that's why the time is earlier than in the west (people need time so we can start working in the morning at the same time). now, if the cause of death is time, off course the earlier the clock, by the time it shows 00:00 at december 21st. then that's it..

The Australians can save themselves by setting their clocks and calendars to skip over the 21st. You should do that. Think of it as Day-Life Savings Time.
