Please answer my really easy maths problem:

I think that this is actually quite an easy question and i may be having a dumb moment but please answer:

using brackets and the theory of bodmas/bidmas make this sum correct:
2x4-1squared-10=8

please help its homework due in tomorrow :(

2(4-1)^2-10 = 8



There you go buddy!

2*4-1²-10=8
2*(4-1)²-10=8

As it is 2 multiplied by (4-1)², which is 3², which is 9. Two multiplied by nine=18, and 18 minus 10 = 8.
