-12 + 16 = 2 + 2.
4 = 4. Yep, I was taught that 4 always equals 4, how about you? Yeah, I'm a bit detailed, but I want YOU to know how to do these. I will shoot through the second example quickly, I know you will beat me.
2(w - 3) + 5 = 3( w - 1 ). Eliminate the parentheses by using Distributive Properties like this:
2w -6 + 5 = 3w -3. Gather like terms on each side of the equal sign like so, watch signs!:
2w - 3w = -3 +6 -5. Just do the indicated math:
-w = -2. Multiply both sides by -1 so as to have positive terms on both sides:
w = 2. Check as we did above:
2(2 -3) +5 = 3(2 -1).
2( -1) +5 = 3( 1).
-2 +5 = 3.
3 =3. Wow, another one right! You are really good at this, Da Troller! You can have my job and all the nothing it pays! Deal? Yeah, didn't think so. Send me $20 for the help. I'm out on that one too, huh. Just so you learned a bit I'm happy. Let me know.
Pay no attention to those fools, I will never give you a wrong answer!
