A pharmacist wishes to mix a solution that is 6% alcohol. She has on hand 90ml of 4% solution and wishes to add some 8% solution to obtain the desired 6%. How much 8% solution should she add?
This is throwing me a bit because I've normally seen these problems with a limit to the final amount. For instance... how much 8% solution is added to 4% solution to make 100ml of 6% solution. Any help?

x=amount of 8% solution,
90*4%+x*8%=(x+90)*6%
Take it from here....
