Maths help plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz?

the mean weight of 100 persons is 56 kg. The mean of weight of ales being 58 kg and of females is 48 kg.then find the no. of males?

m = number of males
f = number of females

total weight / 100 = 56
total weight = 5600

58m + 48f = 5600
m + f = 100 => 48m + 48f = 4800

58m + 48f = 5600
- (48m + 48f = 4800)

10m = 800
m = 80

m + f = 100
80 + f = 100
f = 20

80 males and 20 females

The answer is 80 males.....I didn't use an equation, just trial by error

80males x 58kg = 4640
20females x 48kg = 960

4640 + 960 = 5600

5600/100 = 56

Reword that and I'll try.
