okay so what im testing is if flour can take out a grease stain
there is 2 peices of fabric both get stained with oil, 1 of them will be sprinkled with flour (absorbs the grese) and then they will both be put int the wash to see if the one with the flour gets rid of the stain better
what is the independent, dependent, and control
PLEASE AND THANK YOUU:)

I suppose that you could say that the flour and no-flour treatments are the independent variable and the reduction in the stain is the dependent variable, but those terms wouldn't be used in a real scientific study like you describe. Realistically speaking, all you would say was that the unfloured condition is the control and the floured condition is the experimental, or test, condition.
