Okay, I know this seems ridiculous, but if you read on it's not as ridiculous as you think.
I am a firm believer in the fact that in about 20 years we would have technology available to the public that would alter our bodies to make them not age. I am only 17, and I don't see myself being an extremely wealthy person. Do you think this technology would be available for the middle class, cost wise?

No one can speak definitely about the future;
You believe that, in 20 years, some immortalising technology will be invented; But, I do not believe this;
You are only 17, too tender to think about such deep things; You have not faced the blows of the world to any good degree; Wait for 10 years; You will see how your mind changes radically;
Yes, one can become immortal, but not through technology; The greatest inventor of all times, Thomas Alva Edison, was also not immortal; The inventors of today are much less capable than Edison; Then, who will invent such a hypothetical technology?

Imagine all of the old fogies from 100 years ago still alive and running your life...
