730 inches tall. Find the difference in average. Please dont answer it just explain what Im supposed to do, am I supposed to subtract or what?-It seems like it should be the Mean(Pacific) - Mean(Atlantic) or 12,925 - 11,......
I'm kind of confused on how to solve it, do I subtract them both? here's the question: the pacific ocean has an average depth of 12,925 feet, while the atlantic ocean has an average depth of 11,730 inches tall. Find the difference in average. Please don't answer it just explain what I'm supposed to do, am I supposed to subtract or what?

It seems like it should be the Mean(Pacific) - Mean(Atlantic) or 12,925 - 11,730 = 1195 feet.

It seems to me you would simply subtract them.
