Dried my new pen & I don't want to buy ink

-I always take it out of its shell so it wont melt the casing and take a lighter and burn the tip for a couple of seconds then leave it alone then burn it again and leave it alone. I do that for about a minute and it normally works well after that. Sometime youll have to go back and burn it again during that session but all its doing is heating up the in in the inside so it can become fluid again. But I do like the answer of putting in in warm water. I will try that next time myself.-put it into a cup of warm water for half an hour.......
Not really a science question but I didn't know where else to put this. I left a fairly new pen open and now its dry, how can I fix this?
