Please show how to do step-by-step! Thanks :)
Earth's oceans have an average depth of 3800 m, a total areaof 3.63E8 km^2, and an average concentration of dissolved gold of 5.8E-9 g/L.
How many grams of gold are in the oceans?

both of these are problems in "unit factor method"... aka.. "dimensional analysis"... to chemists. You need to learn that method PRONTO. It will make your grade better, it will make chemistry class a breeze.

********
now that you are an expert on DA.. here we go
(3800m x 3.63e8km²) x (1000m / 1km)² x (1000L / 1m³) x (5.8e-9g Au / L) = 8.0e9 g Au
and...
(1.62 g / cm³) x (1kg / 1000g) x (100cm / 1m)³ = 1620 kg / m³
*********
those are entered into your calculator as
3800 x 3.63e8 x 1000² x 5.8e-9 =
and
1.62 / 1000 x 100³ =
