Which Is Worse Tornado??Hurricane

Let's break it down.

Tornadoes can reach wind speeds 200MPH or greater. Their size can range from a few hundred feet to a few miles wide. Tornadoes can form within minutes giving the public very little time to get to safety.

Hurricanes can have sustained wind speeds up to 157MPH. Their size can range from a few hundred miles and greater. They form slowly and give the public days or even weeks in advance to prepare. Hurricane not only bring high winds but torrential rainfall and storm surges.

Taking how fast tornadoes winds can get and how fast they form, they can be very dangerous. Taking what all a hurricane can do and bring, they too can be very dangerous.

Jaja.. Ok so I am sure you know what a tornado looks like. they can be slim or very big but wont exceed more that like a mile in length i presume. Either way now that you have a picture of a tornado picture a tornado that's the size of 2 states or maybe a state. or depending on what size it is it hits more than 2-3 states at the same time while a tornado only hits a certain part of a city or county. So it depends really they are both deadly in their own way. but in my opinion hurricanes are worst.

I would say a tornado is more destructive in a smaller area but a hurricane does a larger amount of damage over a big area. So If your asking what I would rather be hit by? Hurricane.

Both can be desturctive, hurricanes cause more wide spread damage, tornadoes are more concentrated. Hurricanes are easer to predict, tornadoes are not.
