In a 48 km/h car crash, the people experience a deceleration of 60 gs what is the contact time of such a crash

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-08-31] [Hit: ]
therfore dt = dv / a .dv = 48 kph = 48000m/hr = 13.dt = (13.3 m/s) / ((60)*(9.8 m/s/s)) = 23 milliseconds.60 g is likely to be fatal,......
I REALLY NEED HELP PEOPLE please answer :( I'll pick a best answer!! THANK YOU xxx

-
v = at, therfore dt = dv / a .
dv = 48 kph = 48000m/hr = 13.3 m/sec
dt = (13.3 m/s) / ((60)*(9.8 m/s/s)) = 23 milliseconds.

LOL I meant to say "That's what I got to"

acceleration = change in velocity (speed) / time to change
so change = a * amount of time

crash is going from speed to zero
the longer the time and distance the less the acceleration and the less damage

60 g is likely to be fatal, internal organs keep going while the body stops
