I am doing a project on Gregor Mendel. One of the requirements for the assignment is "Name of the Historical Period." The historical period? What does this mean? And if you know the answer, could you answer for me? This project is for Honors Biology and it is worth a lot of points.

Gregor Mendel was a 19th century monk. Mendel presented his experimental results and conclusions to the Brünn Natural History Society in 1865 then published a year later.

First, Google when Mendel lived. Then google, historical periods. Or try historical eras. They should give you some idea.
