An autotroph makes its own food.If it can sit in the sun and make food from CO2 and photons... its an autotroph.If it has to kill something and consume it.......
Are the following autotrophs or heterotrophs?
flatfish
killer whales
tiger sharks
dolphins
jellyfish
seaweed
coral
elephant seals
eels
penguin
if you only know some of these please still tell, i need all the help i can get! thanks so much :)

This simple distinction will allow you to answer easily. An autotroph makes it's own food. If it can sit in the sun and make food from CO2 and photons... it's an autotroph. If it has to kill something and consume it... it's a heterotroph. :) Bon Apatite!
