What advantage do organisms that reproduce sexually have over organisms that reproduce asexually

because asexual organisms are copies of their parent organism, whereas sexual reproducers have traits from both parents-D) Due to crossing over of chromosomes during sexual reproduction, this gives all offspring high variation and will therefor possibly acquire characteristics that may benefit them. Where as organisms that reproduce Asexually produce exact clones of themselves and can therefor only obtain variation in offspring through spontaneous mutation.During sexual reproduction the offspring are able to obtain characteristics from both the father and mother and therefor have more chance of acquiring a phenotype that may benefit them.Without sexual reproduction animals would not be where they are now as it is a fundamental port of life.......

What advantage do organisms that reproduce sexually have over organisms that reproduce asexually?

a)Their offspring are bigger and better able to reproduce.
b)Their offspring can exist in both haploid and diploid stages.
c)Their offspring may be more adaptable to changes in the environment.
d)Their offspring may have more mutations

-
C, because asexual organisms are copies of their parent organism, whereas sexual reproducers have traits from both parents

D) Due to crossing over of chromosomes during sexual reproduction, this gives all offspring high variation and will therefor possibly acquire characteristics that may benefit them. Where as organisms that reproduce Asexually produce exact clones of themselves and can therefor only obtain variation in offspring through spontaneous mutation.

During sexual reproduction the offspring are able to obtain characteristics from both the father and mother and therefor have more chance of acquiring a phenotype that may benefit them.

Without sexual reproduction animals would not be where they are now as it is a fundamental port of life.

-
(D) greater variety in genetic contributions to offspring
