for school I have to create a country map for my utopian country. what shape should I make it? I kind of want something that represents that my country is diverse, or something like that, but anything is encouraged

You need to think about what you would need in a utopian country:
- The country could not be too small; because it would have to feed itself.- Somewhere safe for ships to shelter in - a deep, narrow harbour.
- Some flatter areas to grow crops and for farming, so you would need a flat area not too far away from the coast., with a river or rivers running through it.- The rivers would need rain; so further inland there must be a mountain range. The ideal country would probably have snow capped mountains; so they need to be high
-You need to think where your country would be: In the tropics (hence, no snow capped mountains here; but lots of rain); or in temperate areas where the landforms could be more diverse.
- Is the country attached to other countries? Perhaps a big peninsula ; so that the borders are as short as possible (like Korea). Or perhaps it is an island country. In that case, it would need to be fairly large, with a long coastline (eg; look at New Zealand.)
- Somewhere for people to live, so it can't be ALL mountains.
- Things for people to do; sailing, hiking in mountains, etc.
- A good transport system; but not too large
