I can't find anything on this anywhere online and I kind of need help with this. Also, how would you describe plant chromatography/plant pigments and why do objects appear certain colors ( absorption, reflection). Thanks guys, I'd appreciate it if anybody can help me out a little bit with this.

It depends on the kind of chromatography you're using; I like paper chromatography for plant pigments. The process involves extracting the pigments chemically and using a solvent to separate them on paper. They appear different colors because the molecules that make them up absorb/reflect different wavelengths of light.

There are many ways to perform chromatography, but i prefer this. See this visual and step by step guide for Leaf chromatography. It will help you by 100%
