so that you have energy to cope with the extremely stressful situation. example: without stress, you can jog at a normal pace. but if suddenly something scary is chasing you (use your imagination), your body will pump extra adrenaline out so that you can run faster to escape it.theres nothing like the fear of catching on fire to get the adrenaline running haha-Her saying fire actives your sympathetic system,......
for example lets say that its time to go to school and my mom is constantly yelling get up but i wont i say 5 more min. but if she starts to yell out fire fire i can get up faster than the speed of light

because of adrenaline.

Your body releases a ton of (the hormone) adrenaline when it recognizes an emergency, so that you have energy to cope with the extremely stressful situation. example: without stress, you can jog at a normal pace. but if suddenly something scary is chasing you (use your imagination), your body will pump extra adrenaline out so that you can run faster to escape it.

there's nothing like the fear of catching on fire to get the adrenaline running haha

Her saying "fire" actives your sympathetic system, which releases adrenaline in response to the danger you perceive.

It's a cognitive issue. What she says registers in your amygdala, I believe, and that causes the increase of the release in adrenaline.

-
Since your brain recognizes danger, blood rushes to your brain and your bloodstream becomes flooded with the adrenaline hormone, which acts against sleep.

Well, would you rather sleep or go to school?

Now, would you rather wake up or be burned to death?
