So you know that the length of a side is 33 feet.The formula for volume of a cube is V = s^3.......
A cube has surface area 6534 square feet. What is its volume? So work

Hi,

To calculate the S.A. of a cube, the formula is 6x^2.

6534 = 6x^2
x = 33

Now to calculate volume of a cube, the formula is x^3.

33^3 = 35,937 cubic feet.

Hope this helps! :)

The formula for the surface area of a cube is A = 6s^2, where s is the length of a side.

6534 = 6 s^2
1089 = s^2
s = sqrt(1089)
s = 33
So you know that the length of a side is 33 feet.

The formula for volume of a cube is V = s^3.

V = s^3
V = 33 ^ 3
V = 35937 cubic feet

S = 6x²
V = x³

6x² =6534
x² = 1089
x = 33 ft
V = 33³ = 35937 cubic feet
