so your next point is up 3 over 1 (to the right) so (1,8). The point after that is again up 3 over 1 (2,11).-You Need To Slove For y First.You Should Get The Equation y=3x+5.......
I need to graph this equation 2y-6x=10 for x i got (4/3,0)and for y i got (0,5) what do i do next
can you explain how to do this.

-
You need to put the equation in the form of a linear equation = y = mx + b

So first move x to the right side of the equation
2y - 6x = 10 -> 2y = 6x + 10

Now divide by 2 to get y on its own

2y = 6x + 10 -> y = 3x + 5

So now we have it in the right form (y=mx+b)
Where m = slope and b = y-intercept

Your first point is (x,y) -> (0,5)

Now slope is y/x or "rise over run," so your next point is up 3 over 1 (to the right) so (1,8). The point after that is again up 3 over 1 (2,11).

You Need To Slove For y First.You Should Get The Equation y=3x+5.
You Can Plug In X And Y Values If You'd Like Or You Can Use The Other Method...The Other Method Is Using The y intercept And The Slope.--> y=mx+b.
m=Slope.b=Y Intercept.You Should Know That Equation Already).The y intercept Is 5 So Put A Point On 5 On The Y-AXIS Not X Axis.The Slope Is 3 Or 3/1.From The First Point Plotted(The 5 On The Y Axis) Go Up 3 And Over 1 Which Is Your Next Point.Repeat.Then Connect Your Points.(:
To Slove For y Like I Said In The Beggining You Add 6x To Both Sides And You'll End Up With 2y=6x+10.Then Divide By 2 To Get y=3x+5.

-
Plot the two points, and draw a straight line joining those two points. Make it stretch for as long as you made your axes.
