Do YOU believe in the existence of other universes?

answers:
Zheia say: Beyond time and space they are there.
-
Ronald 7 say: Absence of Proof is not Proof of Absence
We need to discover the extents of our own Universe before we look to others
-
thegreatone say: I believe there is a spiritual part to the universe, but I do not believe there is more than one universe.
-
Candid Chris say: May be possible but we hardly know much of our own place in space, so trying to think of others is like our knowing our universe is a grain of sand on a surf ripped beach.
Our knowlegde of space and time is extremely limited so go have a beer.
-
Mental say: Yes, God has a very strange sense of humor and creates bizarre things
-
G. Whilikers say: Not at all. Multiverses, infinite timelines, simulations and so on are attempts to fill the holes in physicists' math.
-
Mr. Smartypants say: There's absolutely no evidence that other universes exist. I realize belief doesn't require evidence, but to me, what's the point of believing in something for which there's no evidence?
Like the others here I believe other universes might be possible. But I don't even see the point of thinking about them. Or holding out hope for them. I try to -believe- as little as possible because 'belief in things unseen' just makes life more complicated.
-
NIX say: no.
It's an interesting idea but it's unlikely we'll ever find out if there's any truth to it
-
say: Yes.
They come to visit through our worm hole vortexes.
-
megalomaniac say: I believe it's possible but I wouldn't go around making that claim until I had a little more to go on.
-
Idealist say: No.
-
52_Year_Old_Man say: Yes
-
Kathy say: It is possible
-
Vivid Pink say: I believe in the existence of other galaxies.
-
Unit say: Certainly. Existence is clearly a multiverse, after all time exists.
-
PhotonX say: While belief doesn't normally enter into science discussions, until we can find a way to falsify string theory the concept of a multiverse remains speculative, and does qualify as belief at this point, at least in my humble opinion.
.
If I had to guess, I suppose I would lean slightly toward believing the multiverse is real. I'm not married to the idea, though.
