Are we the only humans in the universe?
are we the only of our kind or is their more like us on other planets if so how come they haven’t connected with us
-------------------------------------------------------

answers:
Zheia say: No. There are other humans in the universe, and humanoids. They will have very different characteristics.
-
Epic Guy say: I'm sure we are
-
John say: There might be other humanoids too far away to communicate with us .
-
el say: There might be intelligent life on other planets but that won’t be humans because we only exists because of a list of oddly specific coincidences
-
ALBERT say: Yes we are! And thanks for asking!
-
say: Don't know don't care
-
e9601: say: We have proof that God created humans. Other planets might have some form of life, but probably not humans.
-
Manuel say: No idea.
-
Clive say: Nobody knows. Other planets are just too far off. And even if there is intelligent life on them, how do they connect in a language we both understand?
-
Jeffrey K say: Of course we are. There might be life on other planets but they won't be humans.
-
Raymond say: Of course, we are.
A "human" is the result of a primate evolving into "us".
"What we are" depends on the evolution of this primate (who depends on the evolution of earlier species, and so on) based on the conditions that existed HERE, on Earth.

On other planets, if there are intelligent species, they will be the result of THEIR evolution from whatever earlier species existed THERE, and based on the conditions that existed on THAT planet. Therefore, they will not be "humans". They will be... err... whatever they call themselves.
-
William say: If there are other advanced technological species out there, they are most likely hominids, which is not necessarily human but have human characteristics. Obviously a good skeletal structure would be necessary, so among their human characteristics they would most likely have hands with fingers and a thumb for grasping things. Dolphin or dog-like creatures would be incapable of creating technology.
-
Keely say: Tbh yeah it's a possibility there could be a whole other universe exactly like ours with another earth we might not ever know who knows how far man kind will get before we kill our planet, I definetely believe there is other life forms out there whether they are as advanced as ours or even more or less but who knows we'll never know until we have actual proof of existence
-
goring say: There are some on earth, those of the past have exited this world
-
delawaredreaming say: We are the only humans. There statistically must be other beings such as intelligent octopus with many brains.
-
Peter say: Peter Gore Seer,
We Are Earthlings, Dumb Life Created By Aliens, There Is Far Clever Life Here On Earth That Don't Self Destruct As Much As We Do. The Aliens Wont Appear As We Attack What We Don't Understand, A Photo Of Aliens Is Ok. Pity Another Planet Full Of Humans.
-
simplyme say: It is my belief there are no humans outside of the earth at this time.
-
say: Actually if the universe is infinitely big and you traveled a googolplex (10^100^100) meters across, you would begin to see replicas of yourself.
-
Jaimee Grubbs say: they haven't contacted us because we are pathetic mind
-
Ronald 7 say: It is possible
And we should take better care of our World
Or at least find another one
-
? say: We're probably the only humans but I doubt were the only life
-
Ethan say: Not likely but there are almost certainly other intelligent life forms.

The chances that aliens exist in our galaxy alone is something like 200 million to 1.
So in every 200 million scenarious. They don't exist in one of those, but do in 199,999,999
-
Kaiser Wilhelm say: Likely. In an infinite universe where celestial bodies have different conditions, the likelihood of the same complex lifeform existing on two different bodies is next to zero.
-
sophie.aitchison13 say: You are the only human in the universe. Everything around you is simply a figment of your imagination. You’ve made this all up. Nothing is real
-
say: To my knowledge and possibly our current knowledge, yes.
-
David say: We are likely the only "humans" in that we are probably the only members of our species. However, there may be aliens that could be considered "persons" if they are self-aware, capable of thought, etc.
-
Mister2-15-2 say: Odds are there has to be other life forms, but very unlikely with same environmental factors that lead to evolution of humans
-
Tempting Apple say: Yes.

Humans have already managed to reach space, but yet not other planets...
-
vic say: Probably, the Bible talks about other worlds but we don’t know if God created them as humans also
-
MARK say: Yes, of course, we are the only humans in the universe.

There may be other planets with life on it. Some may have complex multi-cellular life and possibly intelligent life. They will not be humans. They will be different. There is no reason at all, other than the lack of human imagination, why they should even be humanoid.

If there is intelligent life out there the reason it has not contacted us is the same reason we have not contacted them. They do not know we exist.
-
Adullah M say: May be those other planets dwellers ask the same question.
-
YC say: No! Scientists all agree.....well maybe not all scientists agree. But scientists think that there are other life forms out in the unknown. But because of all of the possible habitable planets in the universe, most scientists agree that there are other life forms(aliens) in the universe.

We probably haven't been contacted yet, because humans aren't very smart, and other life forms probably don't want to deal with us filthy selfish brats.
-
Kill A Conservative say: Lord, I hope so!
-
Brando say: I don't think so, statistically speaking it's practically impossible for us to be the only ones in this universe.
-
John P say: It is extremely unlikely that there are, anywhere else in the universe, beings which closely resemble humans in all our physical and mental complexity!

However, there may well be other "manifestations of living beings" at a comparable level of advancement as humans, or even far more advanced. So far we do not know of any. If any do exist they are billions of miles from our solar system. First contact is likely to be via radio waves.
-
john say: Yes we are the only human live on this earth this is believe of every Muslim
-
say: Weak cell phone connections is why we never hear from them...if they exist. If they live on another planet, we will not be able to immigrate there. They are crowded.
-
Tom S say: The only "humans", absolutely, yes. Any life on other planets would be "alien".
-
URWHAT? say: Nope, just here and when people have finally figured this out it will be to late for them. God requires man to have faith not evidence that He is and if He is (and He is) there will someday be judgement for them. This is probably why most people play denial about His existence, they think they are escaping judgement by doing this and their not. It's all a game to them to see if they can out smart God and do what ever they want and not according to His Word. This includes those who write your school text books, whether they be history or science, etc. There are many lies in them, including evolution and the big bang theories which were then and still are just faulty THEORIES made up by them as a way to deny the existence of God the creator.
-
Joan H say: I am very close to 100% certain that there are no other homo sapiens in the universe. There may be other intelligent (if we can really be called intelligent considering the way we treat each other) life in the universe, but it would be very different.
-
Fred say: We are the only observable humans in the universe.

Chances are on a cosmic scale … the human life form is only 3.5 million years old. Cosmically; a mere blink of an eye. Chances are very high there is a very large asteroid that will obliterate life on Earth is out there in our future. If not that, the Sun will go red giant in some 7.5 million years.

Even if it existed, or previously existed, it would take generations to reach, even with radio communication.. with the distances , radio communications are not possible.

It is more probable that there were intelligent life forms or will be future intelligent life, than any low probability of two separate intelligent life form existing at the same time. Even lower probability: Advanced intelligent life forms coexisting at the same time.
-
The_Doc_Man say: The Carl Sagan comment from "Contact" is appropriate. We MIGHT be alone in the universe. But if so, what a TERRIBLE waste of space.
-
Jackolantern say: Maybe god put humans here on this world to show the cosmos just how complicated and stupid a race of beings can become. Or maybe the entire universe is just a petri dish.
-
Don say: Humans probably yes, but speices no.
-
Dan say: Yes. Otherwise, we would have picked up their radio signals. Do you feel special yet?
-
Ruff say: It's very possible. It's selfish to think about how large the universe is, and come to the conclusion we're the only intelligent life.
-
David say: Absolutely the only humans. Might be some other, possibly intelligent, life out there.
-
cosmo say: It depends on how big the Universe is. If it's infinite, and the constants of physics like the speed of light and Planck's constant are rational numbers, then every possible "history of the Universe" will occur an infinite number of times in an infinite number of places, so "you" will exist in detail an infinite number of times and live out every possible version of your life.
-
Sanjay say: In the solar system ....
-
HankMoody say: It is possible
