How many stars are in our solar system?

Poseidon say: Hi Nathan,

There is only one star in our solar system which is the one you see when you look up and is called 'Sol'.

However our solar system is situated in the galaxy know as the Milky Way and inside the Milky Way there are at least 200 billion stars and may be as many as 400 billion.

The Milky way is smaller than an atom when compared to the vastness of the Universe and there are billions of other galaxies with billions or probably trillions of suns in those galaxies.

A Search Engine search will confirm all this.
