PhotonX say: If your body is three dimensional, why does the back of your wrist appear flat? If the planet were a mile wide, then the curvature under your feet might be discernible, but the diameter of Earth is 8000 miles. I'd think that would be easily understandable even to a fifth grader.

Kasey say: Because of the size difference. It's so big that you can't see the curvature of the planet. There are some places, though, that I've heard you're able to see somewhat of a curve. What's weird to me is that(assuming you live in the U.S.)... We're on the side of the Earth, making everything "hang" sideways.. and it's all upright to us. Weird, right?
