i heard nasa is retiring a space shuttle. i wanna know if there is a name to it. and my teacher is offering extra credit if i see it and take a picture. do u know where i can find it. i am in los angeles. thanks

The entire Shuttle fleet has been retired.
You are still in luck, however, as one of them (Endeavour) will be transported to the California Science Center, in mid-October, I believe. In the meantime, it is being housed somewhere... not exactly sure, last I heard is it was to arrive at LAX yesterday. So you are pretty close.

The last one flew last year. I'm surprised that you pay so little attention to the news that you've missed it.

In that case, the shuttle that is being taken there for the California Science Center is the Endeavour which will open around November. If you miss the transport from LAX there, you can ask your parents to take you to the center later on.
