20g, mix it into 500ml distilled water.......
Help! I'm doing a titrations lab tomorrow and I can't remember how to get the mass of NaOH I need

0.1 moles NaOH = mass/molar mass
so mass = 0.1 x (22.99+ 16+ 1.008) = 40g

since 40g = 0.1mol/litre and you only want 500ml, take half of that. 20g, mix it into 500ml distilled water.
