Are there any lasers invisible to the human eye but visible to thermal imaging

but you would have to construct it yourself. The light would not be detectable by the burglar or by you unless you were wearing infrared goggles. The burglar may have the same kind of goggles though. If he didnt then you would have the advantage with one exception, if a burglar broke into your house you would have to quickly and quietly go fetch your goggles in order to use your new device.Your vision would be limited as well.......
I want to be able to shoot a burglar without them knowing where I am. I know thermal imaging shows me where they are but the laser would help me with aiming(mostly because I am lazy) and I am curious.

Try infrared lasers. All lasers are actually invisible to the human eye, ie. they do not produce a visible beam or trail as they travel through the air. Only lasers which output in the visible spectrum will produce a visible dot on the surface they strike though, which is why an infrared laser is your best bet here.

LASER- Light Amplified by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation.
If you used an infrared light as the light source for your laser then yes, but you would have to construct it yourself. The light would not be detectable by the burglar or by you unless you were wearing infrared goggles. The burglar may have the same kind of goggles though. If he didn't then you would have the advantage with one exception, if a burglar broke into your house you would have to quickly and quietly go fetch your goggles in order to use your new device. Your vision would be limited as well. Limited vision and guns don't mix well together. Don't shoot until you see the whites of their eyes. This way you don't accidentally shoot a friendly visitor by mistake. I hope this helps. Good luck.

"I want to be able to shoot a burglar without them knowing where I am"

Just so you are aware, murder, even of "bad" people, is a felony crime. You are not actually allowed to shoot burglars unless you are acting in self defence, and if they don't know where you are, you are not acting in self defence.

carbon dioxide laser would do it they are available everywhere , but what you really need is a maser which uses microwaves like light and fries anything in its path

You could use infrared lasers for that, but I've never seen anybody sell one for mounting on a firearm. You'd need an IR viewer to see it of course.
