Why do black holes have stronger gravity than their original star

The difference is the relationship between the steepness of the gradient.-You will have your answer in the following source.......

Basically, gravity gets stronger the closer you get to something with equal mass, since you shrink a star by trillions of times, the gravity at the remaining point is trillions times trillions stronger.

At a distance from the object, the gravity would be exactly the same.

But because it is now much smaller (a point, in fact) you can get much much closer to it.
For a sphere of uniform density, the gravity is a maximum at the surface and decreases linearly to zero at the middle. For a singularity, it increases inversely proportional to the square of the distance to the point, in theory reaching an infinite value (at least, in the Newtonian case)

Their total gravity is the same. The difference is the relationship between the steepness of the gradient.
