assume that Pr[H] = 0.5. Also, assume that the coin is flipped 3 times, and the random variable X is defined to be 4 times the number of heads minus 2 times the number of tails.
How many different values are possible for the random variable X?

Id make a list the table would be something like

Outcome:..........X value
HHH..............12
HHT................6
HTH................6
THH................6
HTT.................0
THT.................0
TTH................0
TTT.................-6

The possible values for X are 12, 6, 0, and -6
