I got (x-3) (3x+4+43/x-3) Can i simplify 43/x-3 more since it was the remainder?

This answer doesn't work.

(x-3)(3x+4)= 3x^2-5x-12 ...adding the remainder (43) should give you 3x^2+11x+1

X-3) 3x^2+11x +1 = 3x +20
........3x^2-9x
---------------------
................20x +1
................20x-60
---------------------
Remainder = 61/(x-3)

3x+20 +61/(x-3) is the solution.
