That's WHY I don't answer homework questions any more. If I take the time to answer a homework question ( and there are lots of homework questions that the person ASKING the question CLAIMS is homework question, but obviously IS NOT a homework question), I answer it only if I can explain something. Otherwise, I simply do not answer the question. I usually KNOW when I'm being baited, or when some one is trying to provoke an answer from me SPECIFICALLY. There's ALWAYS something about the question that gives away that it really is NOT a homework question. One small detail in the question that is DELIBERATELY wrong is obviously not a real homework question. Homework questions that are so complicated or so broad that a five page Word file still wouldn't answer the question is obviously posted by some one desperate to provoke a response, especially when there are dumb filler answers or non-answers posted within a few minutes that were posted ONLY to justify the posting of the question, which does NOT violate the CG. (BTW, it's very obvious what is going on in this question too.)

I usually do not answer homework questions. Occasionally, however,
I find myself bored and at such times I am more likely to answer that
kind of question to alleviate the boredom. Also, there are times when a
question piques my interest and I will research it and answer it more out
a desire to satisfy my own curiosity.

I asked myself the same question, that's what the internet is used for partly unfortunately, although it seems wrong it is how it is.
