Just looking into getting a subscription to a science magazine for my birthday and wondering what are the best ones out there? If it is possible could i have a more space/astronomy/physics predicated magazine?
Thanks :)

Not knowing where you are narrows the field a little, though most English language magazines are available in most English speaking countries. In the USA, Scientific American is a good choice. The British magazine New Scientist is also available here, and is very good. There are also several astronomy magazines, among the foremost in USA is Astronomy Magazine and Sky and Telescope. British magazines include Astronomy Now and the BBC Sky at Night magazine. Any of those can be considered a fairly authoritative magazine in it's field, and are all a good read, especially for non-professionals.

Science and Nature are very expensive. Science is AAAS members only, but you CAN buy it in book stores in the United States. Scientific American and Science News are very good, but if you want astronomy specific, Sky and Telescope and Astronomy magazine (the one published in the U,S.A - there's an Astronomy magazine published in the U.K. too) are very good. So is the U.K. Astronomy magazine. Sky & Telescope is a lot older than Astronomy magazine. I've been subscribing to Astronomy magazine since very close to when it started, but that's me. Sky and Telescope is kind of the standard "Bible" for U.S.A. amateur astronomers. I BUY Sky & Telescope, but not consistently.

Popular Science seems a good choice.
