The Moon is in conjunction with Mars once every month as it revolves around the Earth. Next conjunction will be on October 22. Astronomers don't use "houses"; we use constellations.

Houses and constellations are completely different things.
The Moon is in the 7th house for around 2 hours after moon set each day.

There was an occultation of Mars by the moon on July 27, but it was not visible in the Northern Hemisphere. Next one is September 19, 2012, again not visible in the north. After that, the one on May 9, 2013 would have good view in most of the US and Europe, but it's too close to the sun .
