Has the Hubble telescope taken images of exo planets? I want a legit picture, not those stupid pictures that are made by artist. Have any exo planets been discovered? An are planets rare?
And please don't say "Yes, our solar system is full of planets"
Outside the solar system.

Have any exo planets been discovered?
Yes. As of August 10, 2011, 573 extra-solar planets have been identified.

Very few exoplanets are possible to photograph. Usually they are lost in the glare of the parent star. Here is a photo of exoplanet Formalhaut-b...yeah...I know it is only a pixel.

They are not "stupid". The artists put plenty of data in to the understanding of what the planet *might* look like. This is based upon all the data given to them by the astronomers about the parent star, and about the mass and expected temperature of the exoplanet. Yes, there is much comparison to planets in the solar system.
"are planets rare? "
I would say yes. In the 300 light year radius of the "planet hunting zone" where most of the known exoplanets are discovered, only about 3% of the star systems are known to be planetary systems.

Yeah there's been lots of them discovered.
No good pictures though. There's no telescopes that can provide the kind of incredible resolution you'd need for that, not yet. The ones that are known have been found by other means, like mapping the tiny movements they cause in the stars they orbit. Or measuring the tiny drop in stars' brightness when planets cross in front of them.

Yes, but the pictures haven't been of good enough quality to have a decent look at them.
