Is it going to snow in october

loads of people where I live (in Kent) are saying it is going to snow by the end of this week some are saying its not? can some one tell me? and is it on the weather yet?

NO! I'm 99.9% sure it wont snow in kent next week, we ARE supposed to have FROST overnight (i live in hertfordshire above london) but NO snow! they did just say that there will be snow tommorow in the highlands of scotland at around 400m but thats it, dont be suprised if it feels really cold next week especially in the mornings because lows are apparently going to be around 1-4oC in the mornings and highs of only 8-11oC with strong winds making it feel below freezing during the mornings and you will need coats, but NEXT month i wouldnt be suprised if we got a load of snow, in fact, i would go so far as to say that i WOULD be suprised if it DIDNT snow next month here or in kent with you, the reason the media have been saying this winter will be cold is because he last few years have been very cold and seem to be getting worse every winter, this is because of low solar activity, this cools down the upper atmosphere and brings winds from the north east, basically snow for us on the east side! woooo cant wait for some decent snow :P

It's defiantly NOT going to snow in Kent. In Scotland, and in Northern England on land above 800m it could snow but this is normal for this time of year anyway.

The weather models are currently hinting at rain and strong winds for this time next week, NO snow down south.

People would have got the it's going to snow from the media. When it comes to weather, never believe what you read or hear in the media, especially the daily express, sun and mail.

yes it probably will snow this month or next month...the thing with the weather forecast is that it is not always correct so you cant always depend on it. i would assume though if it was going to snow within these few weeks people would be warned to wrap up warm etc.

Over in Ireland, The weather is dropping by 1 degrees Celsius everyday. It might, but it doesnt look certain
