I tried to answer the other one, but you deleted it. Here is the answer
3^2 = 9
6/3 = 2, so you have
9 + (7 - 2) * 4 - 2
PEDMAS = Parenthesis, Exponents, Divide/Multiply, Add/Subtract in that order
Parenthesis first
9 + (5) * 4 - 2
There are no exponents, so divide/multiply next
9 + 20 - 2
Finally add & subtract
9 + 20 - 2 = 29 - 2 = 27 <==ANSWER
Another option if you are on a PC, hold down alt key, on number pad type 0178 (with num lock on), then let go of alt key. You will get 3². Also try 0179, 227, 241, 242, 251, etc
