Mathematics - cubic function

y = a(x - α)(x - β)(x - γ)-first off, alpha, beta, and gamma are zeros (for example let x = alpha,beta or gamma, youll see that y = 0).......
i need help on this question.
Discuss the geometric significance of a, α, β, and γ for cubic function in the form of:

y = a(x - α)(x - β)(x - γ)

-
first off, alpha, beta, and gamma are zeros (for example let x = alpha,beta or gamma, you'll see that y = 0).

a will behave as an amplitude. Increasing a will make all positive values of y larger, and all negative values of y more negative, and vice versa for a.
