therefore (5.6x10^-10)(30.=1.7x10^-8-v = 0.......
use hubbles law with jis original value of hubbles constant H0=5.6x10^-10 (1/years) to calculate the recession velocity of a galaxy that is 100 million light years away (10^8 ly) away from earth. Compare this velocity to the speed of light:what fraction of c is it?

is it?

v= 5.6x10^-10 X 10^8
=0.056

or do i convert light years to mpc
so 10^8 light years = 30.660 mpc
therefore (5.6x10^-10)(30.660)
=1.7x10^-8

-
v = 0.056c
