If you are trying to get somebody to say that all paranormal experiences are not real, you will probably get your wish; there are a lot of people here whose stock answer is that nothing paranormal ever happens. However, where you accuse one of being self-deception, the other is denial.
Sure, far too many people thse days think that everyday events that happen have a paranormal or supernatural origin-- silly movies like Paranormal Activty has dumbed down the population significantly. But to say that all of it is not real is like saying just because people play doctors on TV, there is no real surgery or doctors anywhere. A rather stupid syllogism
