Awhile ago my mom, sister & brother were out my dad & I were at home. Me and him were watching tv and the phone rang the number was like 0's x10 times we let it go to the voice mail some lady came on and said "hello" the voice was all statically & it sounded just like my nana who passed away a few years ago. Me and my dad listened to the message a few times I tried to call the number back and it said "this number has been discounted" when my mom came home I went to play the message for her and it wouldn't play!! So I told her to call and she got the same thing "this number has been discounted" the message went back on the answer machine and my mom tripped out cuz it sound like her mom who died my nana.. Is this soma sign?!? really ******* creeps me out.

Oh that is so cool and nothing to be afraid of. I believe it could have been your nana, as when my step-father passed away we got phone calls for several weeks after, it is almost like they are trying to let you know that they are alright or maybe she needs to tell you something before she can rest. If it is your nana, were you afraid of her when she was alive? No reason to be scared if it happens again just answer the phone and listen or talk. Most often the reason it sounds like static is because they are not really using the phone itself but the energy in the lines. Hope this helps!

Why aren't messages from "ghosts" ever clear and unambiguous?
If you are recounting the story accurately, then it was just static - people hear what they want to hear.
