Last night my older sister came back home very late (which is normal) and she claimed that the light in my room was on, she went back downstairs to get a drink or something, and when she went back up the stairs my light was off. I can't remember doing this so I'm sure I wasn't awake. She also said that my door slightly opened. However my sister does believe in ghosts (I think).
My Dad thinks that it was the light from outside because we always leave the landing light on and I always keep my door slightly open. He thinks that she saw the landing light in my room and so it looked like my light was on but when she went right up it was obvious that is was not on. He also thinks that it might be me doing it in my sleep because himself use to sleepwalk but my sister said that she would have noticed it.
My Dad is the only person keeping me from freaking out! The light going on when she walks up, goes down, and off when she walks back up incident has happened once before about a month ago. She is not teasing me, she sounds really serious but is not freaking out and is taking is ok. She's the only spiritual believer in our family.
Any other logical explanations? Help?

Your sister is either teasing you or seeing something else that appears to be your light, perhaps a reflection or a light that is on somewhere else in the house that somehow shows through to your room.
The cat meowing stopped when you got up because the cat outside got scared when he heard you get up, thus he stopped. When you went to lie down, he started meowing again because the noise you were making stopped. Also, don't ever say it wasn't your mind because it sounded so clear. You just woke up, and that is when many people experience hallucinations.
Trust me, I was a superstitious boy at your age. I have come to find out that many things that we think are ghosts can be explained very simply.
