Is Potassium Hydroxide homogenous or heterogenous

which are not pure substances. If KOH is dissolved in water, then a homogeneous (uniform) mixture is produced.Solutions are homogeneous mixtures.-Potassium hydroxide is an ionic compound of Potassium and Hydroxide and when its in pure form its a solid just like all ionic compounds so when its in solution its not in its pure form but a solution would count as a homogeneous mixture.-Pisgahchemist has it right.......
I know that potassium hydroxide is a colourless solution but i am not sure if it is homogenous and i dont know if it is a pure substance?

Solid potassium hydroxide, KOH, is a pure substance, a compound.

"Homogeneous" and "heterogeneous" refer to mixtures, which are not pure substances. If KOH is dissolved in water, then a homogeneous (uniform) mixture is produced. Solutions are homogeneous mixtures.

Potassium hydroxide is an ionic compound of Potassium and Hydroxide and when it's in pure form it's a solid just like all ionic compounds so when it's in solution it's not in it's pure form but a solution would count as a homogeneous mixture.
