Express the answer in simplest radical form

= 3^(1/4)-(3^3)^(1/4) would make 3^(3/4) and then change 3^(1/2) to 3^(2/4) so both exponents have the same denominator. Then divide and youll end up with 3^(1/4) because when you divide exponents youre subtracting them.......
(4th root of 27) / (square root of 3). I rewrite it as 27^(1/4)/3^(1/2) and *then* to (3^3)^(1/4)/3^(1/2) and mess up somewhere around there.

Any help, answers or even hints appreciated, thanks!

You're good so far: (3^3)^1/4 / 3^(1/2)

Now remember (x^m)^n = x^mn

Therefore, (3^3)^(1/4) = 3^(3 * 1/4)

= 3^(3/4) / 3^(1/2)

When dividing numbers with equal bases, subtract the exponents.

= 3^(3/4 - 1/2)

= 3^(1/4)

27^(1/4)/3^(1/2)

3^(3/4)/3^(1/2)

3^(3/4 - 2/4)

3^(1/2)
